Newmark is pleased to announce that Maggie Argyros has recently joined its Valuation & Advisory (V&A) practice as a senior managing director and New York City market leader. Ms. Argyros will be involved in all aspects of the firm’s day-to-day operations. Ms. Argyros brings more than 28 years of industry experience to the New York office.

Newmark’s V&A practice is a premier service provider for owners, investors, developers and financial institutions with more than 60 offices throughout the Americas. The team’s senior appraisers in the New York Tri-State area constantly collaborate with Newmark’s brokerage and research professionals and are tightly integrated with London-headquartered Knight Frank’s V&A organization, which covers Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia to provide a global platform to its clients.
Ms. Argyros was most recently a vice president at JP Morgan Chase’s Corporate Investment Banking Appraisal department where she ordered and reviewed appraisal reports for the Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities platform. Prior to that, she served as vice president at BNY Mellon, and before that she oversaw the appraisal process for Deutsche Bank’s Berkshire Mortgage platform, which provided GSE loans with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. She began her career in real estate consulting and valuation in 1991 and was a senior appraiser for more than 10 years at CBRE, Inc., where she completed appraisal assignments for all property types as well as feasibility and market studies.
