The new Mission Ballroom in the River North Art District received top honors as Development Deal of the Year at NAIOP Colorado’s annual Awards of Achievement in Denver Thursday evening.

The Partners Group North American Headquarters, developed by Prime West Development, was selected as the Office Development of the Year, while The Quayle, Zocalo Community Development’s redevelopment of the old First Avenue Hotel into 112 affordable apartments, fetched the newly created Community Impact Development award.

Colorado commercial real estate veterans Peter Coakley and Brad Calbert were recipients of the President’s Award and Legacy Broker Award, respectively. Calbert is president of Colliers International’s Denver office.

Dan McGowan of JLL was named Office Broker of the Year; Terrance Hunt and Shane Ozment of Newmark Knight Frank Multifamily were chosen as the top multifamily brokers; and Matthew DeBartolomeis of CBRE received Retail Broker of the Year honors.
