Contracting firm expands in Hauppauge

Listen to this articleBudco Enterprises, a rigging and construction contracting company, has purchased a Hauppauge industrial building for $3.5 million.
The building at 155 Plant Ave. is 20,000 square feet on 1.87 acres and is now the third building the firm owns in Hauppauge. Budco also owns 145 Plant Ave. next door and 55 Plant Ave. down the street.
The sale price of 155 Plant Ave. equates to $175 per square foot, one of the highest per-square-foot prices ever for an industrial building in the Hauppauge Industrial Park.
Scott Berfas, Jack O’Connor and Daniel Oliver of Newmark Knight Frank represented the buyer and the seller, 155 Plant Avenue Realty LLC, in the sales transaction.
