Thomas E. Dobrowski

Executive Managing Director

As an executive managing director with NKF Capital Markets, Thomas E. Dobrowski provides investment sale and advisory services for REITs, institutional investment advisors, hedge funds, special servicers/lenders and private equity/high-net-worth individuals across the United States. Mr. Dobrowski leads a team of professionals with a specific focus and expertise in covering the enclosed regional mall sector, in addition to large and complex open-air and outlet centers. His team is one of the most active regional mall transactional and advisory groups in the country.

Mr. Dobrowski's broad real estate capital markets knowledge and expertise reflects career experience that encompasses all major property types across a wide range of geographies. Over the past 16 years, he has been responsible for equity real estate transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $4.5 billion. Since joining NKF Capital Markets in 2015, Mr. Dobrowski has directly handled the disposition of 27 enclosed regional malls and five open-air regional centers encompassing over 12 million square feet, with an aggregate consideration in excess of $600 million. Additionally, his team has provided valuation services for assets with a gross value in excess of $1.0 billion.

Prior to joining NKF Capital Markets, Mr. Dobrowski was head of Eastern U.S. capital markets for Rockwood Real Estate Advisors. In this role, he oversaw the firm's transactional business and worked directly with parent company Ten-x.com and CWCapital to expand its services to private and institutional owners of commercial real estate. Prior to heading the group, Mr. Dobrowski spent 10 years working with senior management on the execution of investment sale and advisory assignments throughout the country, with a core focus on retail assets. Mr. Dobrowski joined Rockwood Real Estate Advisors from Morgan Stanley's Real Estate Investment Banking Group, where he had worked on a wide range of domestic and international assignments covering multiple property types and capital structures.
