The Tri-Valley saw no shortage of organic growth, headquarter relocations, satellite office openings, office campus development and venture capital funding in 2018. All of these factors continue to help transform the region into an established ecosystem with a diverse tenant mix. Overall, the availability rate decreased from 12.86% to 11.39% during 2018. The largest contributors were the Dublin Class A submarket and the entire office/flex segment; each benefited from very healthy tenant activity throughout the year.
