A handful of user sales occurred this year, buoyed by low interest rates and the long-term cost savings ownership can bring over leasing. Highlights include Adminsure, Inc. taking 30,449 square feet in a relocation move from Diamond Bar, InQbrands, Inc. acquiring 33,402 square feet and Supreme Snacks taking 18,778 square feet. All sales were in Ontario, where the bulk of last cycle's construction activity occurred. The city's airport, amenities and proximity to San Gabriel Valley and Orange County are among its selling points.

E-Commerce may represent only 8.8% of total retail sales in the U.S., yet its growth has been impressive: Online sales in the first nine months of 2017 increased 15.6% from the same period in 2016, while total sales were up 4.5%. Additional growth in this segment favors the nation's major logistics corridors like the Inland Empire.
