Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) presented its top performance awards at the company’s annual holiday party in December at the Highline Ballroom in New York City.
“This is always a wonderful chance to recognize our top-performing individuals,” said COO Joseph Rader. “This year, the Aaron Gural Award, which was established in honor of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s founder and chairman emeritus, goes to Managing Director Brent Ozarowski, who has had an exceptional record with us since joining in 2005.”
Mr. Ozarowski, who had a six-year career in professional hockey prior to joining NGKF, is a previous winner of NGKF’s Associate Broker of the Year Award. The Aaron Gural Award is given each year to a person selected by colleagues for best representing the company with significant contributions in the areas of ethics, teamwork, collaboration and professionalism.
Broker of the Year honors for 2012 went to Vice Chairman Brian Waterman, who also was recognized by Real Estate Forum in October as the top NYC leasing broker who swept individual leasing categories across the city with more than 3.2 million square feet in transactions.
David Simson, vice chairman/COO of the company’s New Jersey operations, was named Regional Office Broker of the Year, his second win in three years.
Scott A. Read, senior managing director in Newport Beach, California, won the Industrial Broker of the Year title. Jeffrey D. Roseman, a founding partner of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank Retail in New York, was given the top Retail Broker honor. Joel D.
