The Marin County Office market experienced a quiet quarter with not a lot of new leasing, no major space give-backs and few major sales transactions other than the closing of the Hamilton Landing sale which had been negotiated earlier in the year.

While not a tsunami by any means, Marin County properties are seeing some interest from potential tenants outside the market and some locally based tenant are expanding and realigning their office space needs. Some Class A property owners are investing in high quality enhancements to the "Tenant Experience" to make their spaces more competitive with other spaces in the market and the Bay Area region.

Asking rental rates are at an all-time high and we are not seeing major discounts to those asking rates. Marin County continues to offer strong value in comparison with other Bay Area markets.
