The market continued to loosen, as vacancy increased 30 basis points in the third quarter. Vacancy has also increased 30 basis points over the past year, from 10.5% to 10.8%. Total net absorption in the quarter measured negative 231,588 square feet, bringing the total for the past four quarters to negative 133,816 square feet. Current projects under construction remained minimal at 30,841 square feet during the quarter, as no projects delivered to the market.

Various projects delivered 1.0 million square feet of product to the market during the quarter, while under-construction developments remained significant with 5.3 million square feet of product planned for delivery.
