Glenn Walsh

Executive Managing Director

Glenn Walsh serves as an executive managing director in Newmark Knight Frank's office in Rye Brook, New York. He brings to his position an outstanding 27-year record in Westchester County commercial real estate with a specialty in corporate and portfolio leasing. Mr. Walsh focuses on landlord representation, building/land sales and medical office leasing.

Mr. Walsh joined NKF in 2013 after 12 years at Cushman & Wakefield, most recently as a senior director of the transaction services group at that firm's office in White Plains, New York. Earlier in his career, Mr. Walsh spent eight years at CB Commercial Real Estate and six years at Newmark & Company Real Estate, a predecessor of Newmark Knight Frank.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Walsh has negotiated some of Westchester and Fairfield counties' largest leases on behalf of landlords and tenants alike. As exclusive leasing agent, he brought a number of vacant buildings up to 90% or better occupancy levels, including:

As a tenant representative, Mr. Walsh has negotiated office space across all industry sectors. Among the clients he has represented are M&T Bank, Montefiore Hospital, the state of New York, Penn Mutual and Provident Mutual Insurance. Some of the largest leasing transactions in Westchester County over the last 10 years were attributable to his efforts, including:

  • Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dickler, LLP (135,000 SF)
  • Diversified Investment Advisors (120,000 SF)
  • ITT Corporation (100,000 SF)

Mr. Walsh graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business. He holds a real estate license in the states of Connecticut and New York.
