The organization is moving within the city to its new home.

Travel Leaders Group, a global network of travel agents, is moving within Alexandria and roughly doubling its space.

The organization, headquartered in New York City but with a major presence at 1650 King St., has leased 23,600 square feet at Carlyle Center, at 1925 Ballenger Ave. The building is owned and managed by American Real Estate Partners and Artemis Real Estate Partners.

“Travel Leaders Group wanted to upgrade the comfort and efficiency of their workplace without sacrificing the neighborhood amenities that employees have benefited from,” Ed Clark, Newmark Knight Frank executive managing director, said in a statement.

NKF’s Clark, Andy Klaff, Jeff Tarae and Wes Evans brokered the deal on behalf of the landlord. Tim Summers and Will Thomas of Cushman & Wakefield represented Travel Leaders Group.

Travel Leaders Group, established in 2008, represents more than 52,000 travel advisers globally across a host of travel agencies and related companies, including Travel Leaders Network, Protravel International, Colletts Travel, Andrew Harper Travel and R. Crusoe & Son.
