Newmark is pleased to announce that highly-respected commercial real estate industry veteran Mark Geisreiter has joined the firm as executive managing director. Geisreiter will focus on San Francisco sales and development opportunities as part of the capital markets team led by Newmark Vice Chairman Steven Golubchik.
Geisreiter joins Newmark from CBRE where he served as executive vice president, representing building owners for sales and leasing in San Francisco. Geisreiter began his more than 30-year career with CBRE in San Francisco. He spent 11 years with the firm consistently ranking among the firm’s top producers. During a 12-year career with Equity Office Properties he served as senior vice president of the San Francisco region and was responsible for the leasing, financial and operating performance of a 22-million-square-foot portfolio. Upon the sale of Equity, Geisreiter became a partner with Panattoni Development Company and led the firm’s Bay Area expansion efforts.
“Mark is a strong addition to our capital markets focus in the Bay Area. He brings a high caliber of industry recognition and a unique depth of experience with some of the area’s top owners. I am happy to welcome him to our team and look forward to continuing our team’s strong growth trajectory,” said Golubchik.
Geisreiter added, “I am excited to join this dynamic team. Newmark provides a dynamic entrepreneurial platform and their leadership in the capital markets segment is impressive. I look forward to being part of this organization’s continued expansion.”
