Chick-fil-A leases space at The Hive in Times Square to open this year

Chick-fil-A will be making its appearance in Times Square later this year. The chain, known for its “Eat mor chikin” billboards and cow mascots, has leased a space that is part of The Hive on the southwest corner of West 43rd Street at 675 Eighth Ave.

The Hive is a three-building renovation underway that includes 303 W. 42nd St., which is next to and wraps around the rear of the Duane Reade on the northwest corner of Eighth Avenue.

The chicken outlet will be opposite the Westin Times Square across Eighth Avenue.

The Hive project, which also has an address of 303 W. 42nd St., is being redeveloped by Kevin R. Wang of KRW Realty Advisors and includes more than 140,000 square feet of new office space and a few stores.
