Jump, the bike and scooter rental company owned by Uber, is expanding its offices within 55 Prospect Street in Brooklyn’s Dumbo Heights, Commercial Observer has learned.

The company is expanding to about 15,000 square feet with the addition of 5,000 square square in the building, where asking rents are in the high $50s to low $60s per square foot, sources with knowledge of the deal said. Leases at the property vary from two years up to 15 years.

The building at 55 Prospect Street is one of four comprising the 800,000-square-foot Dumbo Heights development, owned by Kushner Companies, LIVWRK and RFR Holding.

CBRE (CBRE)’s Sacha Zarba and Alice Fair represented Uber in the deal. A CBRE spokeswoman didn’t immediately provide a comment. Newmark (NMRK) Knight Frank’s Whitten Morris and his team represent the owners at Dumbo Heights. Morris declined to comment, as did ownership. And an Uber representative didn’t reply to a request for comment.

Uber acquired Jump last year after partnering with the company to launch Uber Bike, which allowed Uber riders to book Jump bikes through the Uber app, according to TechCrunch.
