John G. Gustafson

Director

John Gustafson is the healthcare and life science market leader for Newmark Knight Frank’s Denver office and its surrounding regions. He has also completed many notable owner-occupant and investment sales throughout his career. Since the start of his 20-year real estate career, Mr. Gustafson has acquired wide-ranging experience in development, sales, leasing, portfolio management, valuations and site selection. This storied career has given him the expertise to realize multiple solutions to complex and challenging transactions.

Mr. Gustafson relies on his detailed market knowledge, vast experience, relentless passion, far-reaching network and insight into economic indicators to provide his clients with many valuable resources. Throughout his career, Mr. Gustafson has developed a solid reputation for his client-focused approach to delivering best-in-class, customized and strategic real estate results.

Prior to joining Newmark Knight Frank, Mr. Gustafson led the Healthcare Properties Group for the Denver office of Grubb & Ellis. He also guided the development, sales and leasing for medical office buildings and hospitals at Aardex, a Colorado-based full-service developer. Since 1996, Mr. Gustafson’s experience has ranged from appraiser, broker, developer, investor and entrepreneur. This diversity of skills allows Mr. Gustafson to analyze deals from a variety of perspectives and thus provide a number of solutions.
