Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) is pleased to announce that acclaimed commercial real estate investment specialists Keith Yearout and Jim Vondran have joined NGKF Capital Markets in the firm’s Cincinnati office as senior managing directors. Having worked together for over 10 years, the team is highly accomplished at providing maximum value for their clients by offering sophisticated financial analysis with a seamless and tailored process to insure optimal results for each and every client.
“We thrive because the brokerage professionals we employ devote themselves to providing exceptional client service. Beginning with our Cincinnati Commercial Real Estate (“CCR”) acquisition in 2015, our base was established when we aligned ourselves with best-in-class local experts who shared our philosophy for growth,” said Michael Sheinkop, president of brokerage services. “The addition of Keith Yearout and Jim Vondran is prime evidence of the influence from setting up shop with high-integrity professionals who represent the NGKF culture and form the basis for recruiting extraordinary talent and growing the platform.”
Yearout and Vondran have had substantial success throughout their careers in providing first-rate capital markets advisory and marketing strategy for numerous office, industrial and retail investment properties. Prior to joining NGKF Capital Markets, Yearout and Vondran served as vice presidents at CBRE, leading the firm’s Commercial Investment Properties Group in Cincinnati. In the past 18 months the duo has sold over 2.2 million square feet of office properties totaling over $225 million. Since the team’s inception, they have completed transactions approaching $1 billion. In those transactions, over 75 percent involved buyers from outside the market and many were buying in Cincinnati for the first time.
“Keith and Jim are two best-in-class professionals with solid reputations in the Cincinnati marketplace. Their experience and impressive resumes make them perfect additions to our team as we expand our reach from Cincinnati and throughout the Midwest,” said Doug Altemuehle, executive managing director. “Their client-centric focus, drive and integrity blends ideally with our team and are a reflection of why they see so much repeat business. We are very excited to have them on board.”
“The recent announcements of several marquee hires East and West really got our attention,” said Yearout. “The move to NGKF Capital Markets represents a unique opportunity for Jim and I to influence the direction of the firm’s capital markets expansion, and focus throughout the Midwest. We are confident of the firm’s commitment to grow its platform that leverages an entrepreneurial and institutional mindset that is very appealing to us and our prime customer base. The icing for us to jump comes from the caliber of the Cincy team who are spectacular brokers in their own right. We’ve come to appreciate the tremendous synergy locally and regionally and see the power of their global platform. This is a great cultural fit. We are so excited to embark on this next chapter!”
Yearout joined CBRE in 2004 as associate and was promoted to vice president in 2015.
