Mark Joines

Senior Managing Director

Mark Joines joined Newmark Knight Frank in 2017 as a senior managing director in the company's Atlanta office. Mr. Joines is a part of a senior retail investment team specializing in providing strategic advice and implementing focused marketing campaigns in the disposition and recapitalization of all types of shopping center assets across the southeast region. His responsibilities include financial underwriting, the management and production of marketing campaigns and deliverables, and the negotiation of purchase and sale agreements. A 10-year corporate real estate veteran, Mr. Joines has substantial expertise in commercial real estate, including investment sales in the retail sector.

Mr. Joines joined Newmark Knight Frank after serving as a senior director in the retail investment sales practice at Cushman & Wakefield. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Joines was a senior vice president, principal, at Cassidy Turley. His background also includes working at Trimont Real Estate Advisors, where he managed office and retail assets throughout the U.S., as well as financial consulting on behalf of Accenture.
